May 30, 2001
Location - Lost City, Bolivia

The archaeologists are hard at work at the site of the "city" in search of artefacts that could be used to date the ruins. However, layers of mulch are hampering the work. Recce parties are also out in the surrounding jungles seeking other ruins within a 2-mile radius.

Our rations are tight, as everything needs to be transported up from Smiths Crossing. As mentioned in the previous report the trail up to the site is extremely challenging.

The scenery is astounding as our camp is located beside a spectacular 80-foot waterfall.

We are miles away from our generator so in the future our reports might be shorter than those we've been sending previously.
